  • American Alliance for Theater & Education (AATE)
    • The American Alliance for Theatre & Education serves and inspires a growing collective of theatre artists, educators, and scholars committed to transforming young people and communities through the theatre arts.  AATE envisions a world where every child has access to drama and theatre; where every city has a theatre for young audiences; where every community has a youth theatre; where every school has a theatre arts curriculum. We envision a time when the full spectrum of the theatre arts becomes a pervasive part of our landscape.
  • Art Access
    • Art Access is a community-focused organization that strives to demonstrate that the arts are a universal vehicle for drawing out our similarities, celebrating our differences, and ultimately connecting us to each other. Through our philosophy of inclusion, we serve a diverse population of adults and children with and without disabilities, as well as the elderly, youth-at-risk, refugees, the homeless, veterans, and other disenfranchised peoples. Art Access offers a diverse collection of mission-driven programs, including gallery exhibitionsworkshopsartist residencies, literary arts activities, a mentorship program, and community outreach. We are an affiliate of VSA, which is a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts through its Office of VSA & Accessibility. We are the only arts organization in Utah that focuses on serving individuals with disabilities. Art Access continues to play a significant role in helping to eliminate social barriers and create an inclusive world for everyone through art.

    • Information on the program that Weber State University and school districts work with to provide arts integrated instruction to elementary students around the state of Utah.

    • A method organizing thinking skills into six levels, from the most basic to the more complex levels of thinking.
  • Educational Theatre Association (EdTA)
    • Provides professional development, networking opportunities, resources, and recognition for students and educators.
  • National Art Education Association (NAEA)
    • Offers information about trainings, resources, grants and scholarships that support professional growth and leadership.
  • National Association for Music Education (NAfME)
    • Provides advocacy information, resources to educators and parents, professional development events, and a variety of opportunities for music students and teachers.
  • National Dance Education Organization (NDEO)
    • Advocates to positively influence dance education, provides stimulating professional development opportunities, articles, and research information for educators.
  • Salt Lake City Arts Council
    • The mission of the Arts Council is to promote, present, and support artists, arts organizations, and arts activities in order to further the development of the arts community and to benefit the public by expanding awareness, access, and participation. The Salt Lake City Arts Council offers workshops to help artists manage their careers. Topics may include applying for exhibition or performance opportunities, developing written materials such as biographies or artist statements, managing budgets, or learning the legal terms and rights of working artists.
  • Theater for Young Audiences/USA (TYA/USA)
    • Theatre for Young Audiences/USA (TYA/USA), is a national service organization whose mission is to promote the power of professional theatre for young audiences through excellence, collaboration and innovation across cultural and international boundaries.  YA/USA is the United States Center for the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ), and a national membership organization that strengthens the artistic and cultural impact of theatre for young audiences by empowering, connecting and inspiring our members – thereby fostering a global appreciation of the field’s excellence.
  • Timpanogos Storytelling
    • The Timpanogos Storytelling Institute promotes language and literacy in schools.  In collaboration with the Orem Public Library, we continue to bring storytelling experiences to our children locally.  The school outreach program makes it possible for students to experience exceptional educational and cultural events. We have been able to place national storytellers in many schools for once-in-a-lifetime educational programs that students would never otherwise experience. And now, at our Timpanogos Storytelling Conference and through the National Youth Storytelling Showcase (NYSS), the next generation of storytellers are learning the art of storytelling.
  • Utah Advisory Council of Theater Teachers (UACTT)
    • The UACTT Association provides assistance to teachers in many different ways.   UACCT’s goal is to assist teachers in every aspect of their job by creating a support system that can be utilized at all times and are here to make the jobs of teachers better, listen to their concerns, mentor and assist them in networking as well as help teachers grow through training and education.
  • Utah Art Education Association
    • UAEA advocates for and increases the quality of visual arts education through professional development, collaboration, and leadership opportunities.  UAEA hosts the annual Art in the Sun Conference for art teachers and specialists from Utah.
  • Utah Dance Education Organization
    • Utah Dance Education Organization (UDEO) is dedicated to the art form of dance as an essential educational component of life-long learning. One goal of UDEO is to improve the quality and training of dance education in Utah by providing opportunities for creating, performing, and observing dance for all. The organization will address professional development, research and documentation, assessment and leadership.  UDEO will build and support a Utah dance community that focuses on the education of the whole person in and through dance as an art and as a cultural manifestation.
  • Utah Education Association (UEA)
    • For more than a century, the Utah Education Association has been dedicated to preserving and enhancing Utah public education. The UEA represents 18,000 active classroom teachers, retired educators, administrators, licensed educational support personnel and students in education programs at universities.  There typically is a UEA Convention & Education Exposition every year.
  • Utah Education Network (UEN)
    • UEN connects all Utah school districts, schools, and higher education institutions to a robust network and quality educational resources. UEN is one of the nation’s premier education networks.
  • Utah Music Educators Association
    • UMEA advocates for and increases the quality of music education through professional development, collaboration, and leadership opportunities.  UMEA produces All State and Honor music performance opportunities for students throughout the state of Utah as well as an annual Mid-Winter Conference.

  • Utah Teachers of Art History (UTAH)
    • UTAH (Utah Teachers of Art History) is a group of individuals within the state of Utah who have come together to help each other improve the understanding, appreciation, and teaching of Art History in Utah.  Our goal is to combine ideas and resources to enliven and inspire classroom teaching, and to minimize duplication of effort and maximize the sharing of ideas that will help in creating a robust Art History curriculum and learning environment, informed and inspired by national standards and rigor.
  • Utah Theater Association (UTA)
    • The Utah Theatre Association has expanded its scope to become a resource for theatre educators and pre-service teachers and has built ties to the Utah State Board of Education. UTA is committed to offering workshops geared towards current and prospective theatre educators at their annual conferences.  The Utah Theatre Association produces the annual theatre conference and is committed to introducing high school students to representatives from college and university theatre programs.
