Ballet West In Theatre Performance of “The Nutcracker”

November 22 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Ballet West Student In-Theater Presentations are designed to build on a student’s experience with Ballet West for Children program. Here the students have the opportunity to attend an actual ballet performance at the newly renovated Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre. This hour-long program begins with an educational introduction and is followed by a portion of the repertoire currently being performed for the general public.

The Nutcracker

Experience a Christmas Eve filled with enchantment as Clara’s nutcracker toy comes to life in an explosion of adventure and magic. In Act 2 travel to the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy for lively and colorful dances from around the world.

Recommended for grades one through twelve
